What this project demanded
In a refinery's classified areas, every electrical device must be built so that any spark it produces cannot reach the atmosphere around it. That means the machine, controller, lighting and even the car pushbuttons have to be supplied in explosion-proof versions. Delivering two units at 80 and 60 metres in that environment covers Ex requirements, corrosion resistance and safe operator access to process levels at the same time.
