Elevators

Traction is the most common and most economical solution for mid- and high-rise buildings. Gearless machines cut energy consumption and noticeably improve acceleration and stopping quality. It remains the best choice where travel height and traffic are high.

In low-rise buildings — where machine-room space is limited or the structure cannot carry high head loads — hydraulic is the logical choice. The power unit can sit away from the shaft and load transfers mainly to the pit floor. A soft ride and high inherent safety are its defining traits.

Where floor area matters, MRL removes the machine room entirely. The gearless machine mounts inside the shaft and the space saved returns to the building's primary use. Beyond the space saving, it also consumes less energy than traditional systems.

A panoramic elevator is part of the building's architectural experience, not merely equipment. Glazed cabins, considered lighting and selectable materials turn it into a visual element in lobbies, retail centres and luxury villas — with no compromise on safety or performance requirements.

Freight elevators are engineered for continuous duty and heavy loading. A reinforced floor, wide doors, a strengthened car structure and a control system matched to a high duty cycle define this group. Capacities are set by the load type and the handling equipment used — forklift, pallet or roll.

In refineries, power plants, silos and process units an elevator is part of the industrial plant, and has to be judged against the conditions of that plant. We supply and install industrial elevators on the basis of a site review, the operator's requirements and the environmental conditions of the project. Where required, higher IP protection can be provided for contaminated environments, and an Ex configuration for flammable and explosive ones.

In a rack-and-pinion elevator the car travels by a pinion engaging a toothed rack on a mast. The technology has a defined place in our delivery record: two explosion-proof units at Shazand Arak Refinery at 80 m and 60 m travel, two units at Khorasan Steel, and installations at Ghadir Steel and Arfa Steel at 48 m over six stops. Where required, higher IP protection can be provided for contaminated environments, and an Ex configuration for flammable and explosive ones. Project specifications are determined by our engineering department after reviewing the structure and site conditions.
